Hannah Abrams: Freedom to Grapple with God

Hannah AbramsHannah Abrams is a junior at the Emery/Weiner School, where she enjoys participating in technical theatre, varsity women's basketball, debate, and anything else that strikes her as interesting. Hannah is a member of Congregation Brith Shalom and Houston's United Synagogue Youth chapter. She thanks the Boniuk Center for creating the Sacred Sites Quest from which she heard about this contest.

Kunal Pasrija: The Idea of Tolerance

Kunal PasrijaKunal Pasrija is a senior at the Kinkaid School who is interested in the arts, sports, and service. His favorite subjects are the social sciences,  filmmaking, creative writing, and journalism. He is a member of Chinmaya Mission Houston, an organization designed to further knowledge of Hinduism and increase spiritualism. He would like to thank his creative writing teacher, Angélique Jamail, for encouraging him to participate in the Embracing Tolerance contest.

Alexander Hansen: Bridge Building a Harmonious Society

Alexander HansenAlexander Hansen is a junior at Strake Jesuit. He enjoys playing goalie on Strake Jesuit’s water polo team as well as on Houston’s Junior Olympic team, and Southwest Zone team. He was a group leader for Strake Jesuit’s Freshman Retreat earlier this fall. Alex entered the Embracing Tolerance contest thanks to the encouragement of his theology teacher Mr. John Fahy.
